        "option2": "Signed by artist O.Garcia on the bottom. Different artists use different symbolism. The bear may represent power and long life; the black may represent clouds and mountains, while the white background can be representative of Mother Earth.  This matte painted polychrome style type of pottery was developed in the 17th century. Pots made in the traditional method use clay mined near the village and broken down into fine pieces, and sifted so it is very fine. It is then mixed with temper and some water so it becomes workable and coiled, hardened, decorated and then fired. Traditionally that would have been done in an open air pit, now more often in an electric kiln, for consistency of temperature."
