            "value": "Small six stringed banjo. The body is a hoop of light brown wood with an open back.  The sound-table of skin is held in position on the frame by a metal alloy rim with four metal brackets. The bridge is of wood. The neck of the banjo passes through the frame, forming an end-pin at its base. The nut is of bone.  The flat peg-box is angled away from the neck, with five rear entrant wooden pegs of violin type. The fretless fingerboard has Tunbridge work inlay.  There is one side entrant peg half way up fingerboard for the short  thumb string. The strings pass over the sound-table and are fixed to a metal alloy tailpiece attached to the end-pin."
