Brass pirouette is round with notches cut at even distances around the rim. Above are decorative brass balls and above these a circular lip plate, which is loose but is attached to the pirouette by a metal chain. Reed is widely flared but damaged. Brass bell has two copper bands, one at the top, the other, which is raised with a triangular profile, is positioned half way down. Above this middle band, the bell is conical with straight sides, below it has a slightly curved flare towards the rim, which is plain. Hammer marks visible on all surfaces of bell, and a longitudinal seam runs down the back.  Seven fingerholes and one thumb hole are positioned in the scalloped recesses ."

The staple with two brass spheres is surmounted by a pirouette, which is loose and is attached to the lower disc  by a metal chain. The reed is widely flared and is damaged.
