Wheatstone, Inventor, 20 Conduit St., Regent St., London.' 5 13\/16\" diameter flat amboyna wood veneered ends with simple frets and pine backing. Ends are of flush-fit to bellows and pans, but have the early style ends, inset to a cradle within the action. 32 ivory buttons, 16 each end: red Cs, stamped naturals and black stained accidentals. Only the strap metals are present, plus simple straight brass finger rests. Strap screws absent. Four-fold green leather bellows, having faintly embossed papers with a gold curliqued\/arabesque pattern. There is a later price code of 'SL\/-' inked twice onto the bellows. The reed pan has square-end brass reeds. The action has complex brass levers, with pivots screwed to the action board, and with buttons held in slits at the end of each lever. Bone pallets, screwed to brass levers."
