            "value": "Only known instrument by this maker.\nThree Cramer & Co. concertinas are now  itemised in the Concertina Museum Collection belonging to Neil Wayne, refs C-266, C-269 and D269.  C-269 (serial number 237) is described on the Concertina Museum website http:\/\/concertinamuseum.com\/SiteS4j.htm as probably having been supplied by Wheatstone's, with its 'post-Lachenal features' including single-rivetted steel reeds. (MB 2022.10.05) In the introduction to the 'Cramer & Co (possibly part-Wheatstone)' section of the printed catalogue (p.86) entitled 'The Concertina Museum' sent to M Waitzman by N. Wayne in 2023, the author states 'A good survey by Wes Williams of Cramer's details is here: This states...\"J.B. Cramer & Co., 201 Regent St.... was not formed until 1872\"'.  On p.87 of the same catalogue, Wayne describes C-269 (serial number 237) as dating 'from 1880'. (MB 2023-10-05)."
