            "value": "Dholak, double membrane barrel drum. Wooden shell with a dark stained outer surface and a pronounced barrel shape, bulging at the centre. The skin membranes are lapped over concealed hoops, that are angled inwards towards the ends, following the contours of the body. The heads are linked and tensioned with leather lacing that is tightened with brass rings. The lacing is coloured red on one side and is arranged around the body in an 'X' formation. A shoulder strap of white cotton is attached to the lacing at both ends. With a beater (M34a-1985), which is a simple wooden stick, length 340mm,  and is shown threaded through the strap."
