There is a similar example to this loaned by me in the Edinburgh University collection). the 'bell' is further decorated with an old sock to which cowrie shells have been stiched'"

The main body is cylindrical down to the bell, which accounts for about one third of the length and is evenly conical. The entire surface is wrapped anticlockwise from top to bottom in snakeskin and decorative wire."
