Taxidermy case of one adult male, one juvenile male and two adult female Eurasian Hobby. Acording to Edward Hart, writing on 12 April 1927, 'Bottom middle (no 1): adult female, April 18th 1871; top left (no 2): juvenile male, August 29th 1873; top right (no 3): adult male, May 26th 1867; bottom right (no 4): adult female, September 23rd 1904. All of the above shot by me, mostly whilst they were hawking round the large reed beds near Christchurch, when the Martins were coming in to roost. Sexes allke. Summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
