Taxidermy case of adult male Red-crested Pochard. According to Edward Hart, writing on 19 April 1927, '(No 1): adult male, January 20th 1820. Shot by Iram Hiscock in Christchurch Harbour. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage the same. Not known by whom mounted'.
