The sides of the cap are embroidered with moth and flower designs. The crown is formed by four segments sewn together with metal thread with ribbons along the scalloped edge.  Two segments feature embroidered insects including a butterfly and floral sprays against indigo satin ground. The other two segments have embroidered flower designs on a cream patterned silk ground. There are red and green tassels on both sides. Two blue streamers of pale blue silk at back, a red cotton tie fastens to  a loop sewn on the other side to secure the hat.",

Black circular hat embroidered with 2 butterflies and a flying insect[?] at centre front. Embroidery in green, blue, gold thread, light green, white and red. On either side of the hat are red and green tassels. The top of the hat is cream with floral embroidery. The back has two blue tails extending from the top. A red piece of cloth is to hold the hat in place by a hoop on the right side of the wearer."
