kris (dagger (weapons: edged))

Keris with straight blade with pamor. No greneng. The gandik is plain. There is no telale gadjah or tikel alis; there is no sogokan; no pejetan. See illustration on p.32 of Van Duuren. Brojol kris? The hilt is a seated figure, elbows on knees and arms crossed across its body on a round seta with diagonal notches cut into it. See Van Duuren p.84 left and p.54,55. Jawa demam? The mendak is a simple cup between the hilt and the ganja, with a granulated ring top and bottom, narrower next to the ganja than next to the hilt.
