            "value": "Rectangular cream barkcloth with stencilled decoration in black and brown. The textile is decorated with a centre panel and several borders. The outermost border of short parallel lines is not present on all 4 sides. A border consisting of diamonds and triangles which create a voided x-shape pattern is bordered with dashed lines. This is followed by a border of reciprocate dentate pattern with different patterning on the 2 halves. This is separated from a wider border by a solidly coloured line. The innermost wider border contains linked diamond motifs consisting of inward-facing toothed outlines surrounding an 8-pointed motif. The panel consists of several patterned bands. Several contain variations on the voided x-shape motifs.  Gridded bands separate a band containing single slanted diamonds or quatre-foil motifs from one containing rectangles with inward-facing toothed edges on the longer sides framing linked diamond motifs. Halfway across the tapa is a fringe of plain cut barkcloth."
