Behind this are a number of raised bands in the portion of the lower barrel nearest the muzzle. Behind these are 5 bamboo shoot motifs pointing towards the breach. There is a sangka, a long pin attached by a swivel to projecting lugs on both sides of the lower barrel, which enables the cannon to be set in a hole. The sangka has foliate decorative motifs on either side. In front of the sangka is a band of 6 bamboo shoot (pucuk rebung) motifs around the barrel. There is a ridge where the smooth lower barrel overlaps the upper barrel, which is also smooth and round in section. Along the top of the lower barrel is a decorative panel of scrolling. On either side of this there are two pairs of 'bunga madu kasirat' (see diagram in Fig IV of Shariffuddin's article. See note). There is a sight (pistaran) above the muzzle, another towards the rear of the decorative panel at the top of the lower barrel, and one formed of part of the patterning at the front of this panel. To either side of the touch hole is a notched lug (gargasa). The breach is decorated with two bands of overlapping petal shapes and is edged with a lotus flower shape which echoes the muzzle end. The gaganok is cylindrical, with some plain raised decorative bands towards the breach. A nice example.",
