            "value": "Almost square piece of cream barkcloth. The textile might have been part of a larger piece, as some of the painted patterns appear to have been cut. The surface is divided by black lines into smaller rectangular sections. These are again subdivided with some of the smaller areas decoraed with zigzags or circular motifs in black. The narrow bands\/stripes between the rectangles contain a light brown triangle\/diamond pattern. The light brown patterning showing variations of triangles, diamonds, bands\/stipes and diagonals cover the cloth overall. These almost appear as if they are rubbed patterns which would suggest different beaters being used for each small section. They might also either be stamped or stencilled, and show through on the reverse. On 2 sides the textile is framed by a solid black line."
