            "value": "Rectangular cream piece of barkcloth ('tapa') seemingly cut from a larger piece. Supposedly from a dress ( see inscriptions). The decoration on the textile consists of a centre panel, and a border on one shorter side. The majority of the patterns is painted in black pigment. The narrow band in the panel and the border are painted in red pigment. The panel is decorated with bands of geometric patterns and solidly coloured bands. Thegeometric patterns include diagonals, stripes and triangles creating square fields. The solidly coloured bands alternate between wider and narrower ones. The red narrow band consisting of 2 narrow bands of dots between thin solid lines. The border consists of a  stripe with an irregular grid pattern. This pattern creates a zigzag motif."
