Seemingly taken from a larger  piece of cloth with a purple cotton tabby woven ground inlaid (discontinuous supplementary weft)  with gold-coloured (metal-wrapped thread) horizontal,  spaced, leaf-like motifs.  There is a row of repeating buti where the main field meets the border pattern.  The border is a gold-coloured zigzag pattern  (twill) on a red ground.  There is a row of  gold-coloured dentate shapes between the border pattern and the main field.  Each piece has a selvedge at the border.  [Identical to nn5448.]"
