You can bake up a storm or stop by the shops for some treats. Every penny you raise will help the Horniman inspire future generations of London’s families and schoolchildren.
Your Great Walrus Tea Party could have walrus-shaped cakes and ocean-themed biscuits and even some savoury seafood snacks – from fish finger sandwiches to prawn cocktail crisps. Just remember to price each slice and send in the dough!
There is a range of fabulous Horniman prizes for the most exciting cakes and the most money raised, from a family membership to behind-the-scenes tours. But most of all we want you to have fun and raise some funds along the way.
You can hold your Great Walrus Tea Party throughout the month of June, on any day to suit you.
Hold your Great Walrus Tea Party at work, at home, at school or in your community. You could even head to one of our picnic benches and ask your friends to join you in our gardens for your tea party.
