Enjoy the Easter weekend at the Horniman with the whole family. Go on our Easter trail, create something crafty in our workshops, have your face painted and join in family activities across the Gardens.

To apply for stall space at the Horniman Easter Fair please fill in the attached form and return it to jmtucker@horniman.ac.uk by 5pm on 23 February 2018.

'The Ugly Duckling' Storytelling Performances by Sandal Sticks Theatre

Saturday and Sunday

11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm

Hands On Base

£5 per child, £1 per adult

Meet the most unlikely duckling hero and hear the story of the duck who was different. This much loved classic tale has been adapted into an interactive storytelling performance for the Horniman by Sandal Sticks Theatre. Featuring song and puppetry, The Ugly Duckling is a heart-warming tale for all the family.

Both children and adults require a ticket. Due to limited capacity, there is a maximum of two adults per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance booking recommended.

Please be aware that tickets cannot be exchanged for different time slots.

Animal Corner with Wild Fangs

Say hello to Zebedee our 7ft Boa Constrictor and Santi our fury Chinchilla! Handle Giant African Land Snails, Stick Insects and a bearded Water Dragon, plus discover how they grow by spotting their babies and eggs! Not recommended for under 3s. All children must be accompanied by adult.

Lindy Hopping Dance Workshops

Hop like the Easter bunny and join us for some lindy hopping dance classes and performances on the Horniman Bandstand. Suitable for all ages.

£1 per quiz sheet from the Easter Desk outside the main entrance

Follow clues around the Gardens and the Museum on the Easter trail and collect your prize! Suitable for families with children ages 3+
