This year’s stunning Best Picture Oscar Winner, The Shape of Water (2017) is an other-worldly fable set against the backdrop of Cold War-era America circa 1962. Lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins), trapped in a life of isolation and silence, works as a cleaner in a hidden high-security government laboratory. Her life is changed forever when she discovers the labs secret classified experiment - an amphibious creature being held in captivity. As Elisa forms a unique relationship with her new friend, she soon learns that its fate and very survival lies in the hands of a hostile government agent and a marine biologist.
