Listen out for excerpts from letters written by or to Windrush Generation Caribbean migrants, read out over the Museum’s public announcement system.
These excerpts talk about raising families, remembering the dead, telling stories and celebrating life together. They were collected during the Caribbean London Table project.
Letters will be read out at different intervals throughout the day

Join us for a tour of the World Gallery reflecting on Caribbean histories.
Starting from the point of absence, Anthropology Curator Rachael Minott will take you through the gallery highlighting where the Caribbean stories could and should sit in the narratives of the world.
