Object in Focus

Taking inspiration from the Museum Association's Effective Collections, this scheme offers museum objects on temporary loan to other institutions. The objects chosen for the project have either been in storage for a number of years or on display but with limited interpretation.

To make loans more accessible we can deliver the loan object along with a showcase, lighting, transport, interpretation, and the option of an expert talk and publicity for the loan and talk. Conservation and loan support is available throughout the process. Although support will make loans more accessible, the loans meet the same documentation, conservation and exhibition standards as for our regular loans.
