Pippa Hough

Pippa is a Senior Events Producer and is working on a programme of activity for the Horniman’s 125th anniversary in 2026.
As Event Programming Manager (maternity cover) Pippa oversaw activities for visitors, including installing David Shrigley's 3-meter-tall Mantis Muse into the Conservatory for an unforgettable Easter of praying mantis themed activities. She also managed the Museums' venue hire, and incorporated funerals as part of our offer, making the Horniman the first national museum to do so. Pippa worked at the at the Science Museum for 12 years where she specialised in producing projects that brought together artists and scientists to create innovative, interactive storytelling through live events, exhibitions, and dance. In her last role at the Science Museum, she was part of the Management team in the Learning Department overseeing the interactive galleries, managing the Explainer teams and leading in the Lates programme. Pippa is a Trustee of Unlimited Theatre, a charity that give grants to theatre companies.
