Edward Schofield
Edward is the Visitor Experience Manager at the Horniman. He is responsible for ensuring that all visitors to the Museum and Gardens have the best possible experience.
He works closely with Visit England to ensure the Museum strives to meet and maintain the highest standards of service and quality.
Originally from a small village in the Pennines, Edward first started his career in museums 1992 when he joined Nation Museums Liverpool, working at the Maritime Museum on the Albert Dock.
Moving to London in 1995, he has managed retail, volunteer and visitor experience and operations teams at the V&A, Somerset House and Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust, before joining the Horniman in 2023.
