Animal Walk
Home to goats, sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and alpacas, the Animal Walk guides visitors on a walk through the centre for a close-up view of the animals.
The Animal Walk further brings to life founder Frederick Horniman’s vision of an outside space reflecting the Museum’s collections.
Linking to the Museum’s Natural History collections, it looks at the connection between domesticated animals and their wild relations, and why people live alongside domesticated animals.
Please note that the Animal Walk will remain open for ticket holders only for the following events:
Saturday 27 June – All day – 125th Birthday Party
Saturday 25 July – All day – Haflah at the Horniman
Saturday 22 August – All day – Music Jerk ‘n Tings
Access to the Animal Walk
The path through the Animal Walk is on an incline, so may not be suitable for all wheelchair users.

My mum made pals with an alpaca on Sunday at the Horniman Museum's gardens. Such a charmer!
