Camel

There are over 50 different terms for camel in Tamasheq, the main language spoken by the Tuareg. They indicate age, colour, temperament, strength, gait and training. Arewaha for example is a camel that roars when loaded with heavy bags, and arennanas is a camel that neighs with joy when fed.
