Film screening: Capes for Blue Skies

Join us for the premiere of Capes for Blue Skies, a short outdoor performance film by Love Ssega and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Love Ssega, the former lead vocalist of Grammy award-winning music group Clean Bandit, is currently the artist in residence with the Philharmonia Orchestra. As part of his Live + Breathe campaign during the residency, he has been exploring the climate emergency and social justice while working with community groups in Southwark and Lambeth.

To mark the end of his tenure with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Love Ssega has recorded a short outdoor performance film of his clean air-inspired piece, Capes for Blue Skies, with an eight-piece orchestra.

The evening will include a 45 minute screening of the film and panel discussion followed by a 45 minute reception and networking session.
