Experience our 茶, चाय, Tea exhibition with a guided tour in Cantonese.
Our tour-lead Calvin Tatara will explore the history of tea and relevance of tea today, sharing voices and perspectives from people all over the world within the exhibition and inviting you to share your own.
Calvin Tatara is a Hongkongese milk tea barista and historian. Encouraged by his Eurasian and indigenous Hongkong heritage, Calvin studies the history of Hongkong culture. He was previously a lecturer in Hongkong society of SOAS and has opened pop-up cafés in London to promote the Hongkongese tea culture.
The 2 May Cantonese Tour of 茶, चाय, Tea (Chá, Chai, Tea) will take place at 6.30pm as part of Horniman Lates.
The 5 May Cantonese Tour will take place at 11am.
