As night falls, the Horniman’s Day of the Dead celebrations continue with an unforgettable evening in the Conservatory.

Carry on the party and immerse yourself in the music, flavours, and energy of Mexico at this adults-only event. Step inside the beautiful glasshouse space, transformed into a glowing fiesta with live performances, DJs and a vibrant atmosphere.

Dance the night away with La Curandera DJ and a high-energy soundtrack blending Mexican classics, cumbia, and Latin beats.

Tequila bar

Sip on cocktails and premium agave spirits at our exclusive bar, with signature tequila and mezcal serves throughout the night provided by Cazcabel Tequila.

Delicious Mexican street food

Indulge in authentic flavours with Hungry Taco, serving tacos, tamales, and more.

Face painting

Come dressed up in the spirit of the fiesta and transform yourself with catrina-style face painting available on the night.

This exclusive event is the perfect way to mark Día de los Muertos with friends, surrounded by music, colour, and the warm spirit of Mexico.

How do I get into the event on the day?

The evening fiesta will take place in the Conservatory. Please enter the site via the main entrance on London Road – walk up the Avenue and you will find the ticket gate directly ahead of you. This will be the only access point for ticket holders.

Terms and Conditions

  • Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged for other Horniman activities.
  • Each member of your group must have a ticket.
  • Please be aware that events are standing / dancing with limited seating. Please give those with access needs priority to seating.
  • Please do not bring your own alcoholic drinks with you as these will be confiscated at the entrance gate. We will be running bags checks.
  • We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering, you are giving permission for these to be used by MexiBrit or the Horniman for promotional purposes.
  • The event will take place whatever the weather and refunds will not be offered in the case of inclement weather.
