Outdoor Messy Play
Join us for lots of messy fun outdoors, aimed at little ones under 3 and their carers.
Come along to the weekly Outdoor Messy Play sessions. Located in the South Downs of the Horniman Gardens, these family-friendly sessions are aimed at young children and adults who want to have fun and play together outdoors, getting as messy as they dare!
There are lots of opportunities for wet, dry and textured free play activities that allow children to play, create, investigate and explore.
Our staff are on hand to help you explore and play, but we want accompanying adults to join in and have fun too – so make sure you dress for the mess!

- Sessions last one hour
- To avoid disappointment we encourage you to book in advance
- Each child ticket also admits one adult
- If buying more than one child ticket, only one adult is required to attend for every three children.
- We are unable to offer refunds, exchanges or alternative dates
- Messy and muddy play is encouraged so please dress accordingly. All sessions will take place outside.
