Mangle board made of wood, consisting of a flat board with a raised handle at one end carved in the shape of a horse. In front of the horse's head on the board is carved 'AOD 1702'. Decorated on the upper surface with curvilinear carved designs including cross hatched detailing in low relief within a rectangular border, with a further cross hatched lozenge shape immediately next to the date. Label on underside gives this object as 'en fjoel', from Jeito in Skjagen.
