Wooden constable's truncheon, gently tapered outwards along the length and narrowing slightly just before the rounded end of the shaft. The handle has a ringed grip and curves outwards slightly at the end. The shaft is painted black with the legend 'GR IV' in a dull gold colour near the middle of the shaft and the number 2 where it meets the handle.
