Rectangular piece of fine cotton textile, probably half of a square. The two shorter and one of the longer sides has finely worked embroidery in coloured silks and metal strip and metal-wrapped thread. Where embroidery has been worked the fabric has been lined to support it. The decoration consists of a meandering stem, worked in the metal threads and green silk, with pink and white flowers and smaller blue flowers. A large foliate-style motif has been embroidered on the inside of each corner turn.
