Long, thin piece of embroidered muslin, probably a sash, with one selvedge and one raw edge at the longer sides. The warp edges are overstitched. A purple and gold tree-like motif with two green and four leaves attached. Three very stylized birds perch on top. The motif is framed on three sides by purple and pink leaves attached to a black meandering line. The materials used are coloured silks (?) and gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread and metal strip.
