hawk hood

Tan leather hawk or eagle hood with embossed designs of flowers, squares and acorn leaves. At the back 'F. Dorsch' is also embossed. The bottom is finished with a edging of green leather. There is a slit at the back, flanked by two shorter slits. Through these pass two interlocked short bands of textured brown leather securing the hood together. At the top is a simple crest made from 3 strips of leather, knotted at the base. Old Yellow Display Label: Hood for eagle. Austria.
