Eye shade case, oblong with triangular open top, tapering toward the flat base. The front and back of the case are made of red leather, the sides are made of stiffened cream silk, all trimmed with patterned ribbon. Decorated with ruyi-shaped cloud and two symbols of the Eight Daoist Immortals, musical tubes and a gourd with swatiska motif painted in ink on red leather.
