Flute in D, cocuswood body, silver keys and mounts, cork lapped tenons. Boehm's system of 1832, with open G sharp (hinged key) and conical bore. High pitch. D-shaped embouchure-hole. The cover-plates are shallow-cupped and riveted to the lever-arms. Plate and socket for a crutch for left hand. Rod-axles mounted on pillars are used throughout. Movable cork-faced hardwood stopper. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 58.3 cm. Stamped: Th. Boehm A. Munich.
