422.112 (Single) reedpipes with double (or quadruple) reeds with conical bore

Oboe, boxwood, ivory mounts, cork lapped tenons. Twelve silver keys, round, shallow-cupped, mounted variously in turned rings and blocks, saddles and pillars. Includes low B natural, half-hole plated for left hand first finger, octave key and hinged rings for F. D sharp duplicated. Three touch-plates for B flat. Twin holes for third finger only. Some keys are later additions. Sounding length (overall length) is 56.4 cm. Chip out of octave key guide ring. Stamped: C. Golde Dresden (lyre and star mark).
