Clarinet in high E flat, silver plated brass, the body a simple tube with raised finger holes. Thirteen keys mounted on pillars carried on small base plates, round key cups. Long keys rollered. Screw collar at the mouthpiece socket. Lacks two pads. The mouthpiece of dark wood is inscribed: Besson & Co. and is not original. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 42.4 cm. Stamped: Henry Distin 31 Cranbourn St., Leicester Square, London (numbered 70).
