Oboe, brown wood with pronounced grain, German silver mounts, long bell section with a rather rough finish. Nine German silver keys, round, with stuffed pads, mounted on pillars, including octave key and low B natural. Twin holes for third finger. Simple top, without baluster. Wood bleached on face from exposure to light. Sounding length (overall length) is 55.9 cm. Stamped: Wallis 6 Union Street London (a worn mark).
