

Oboe, wood, ivory mounts. Eight silver keys, round and flat. Two keys (swallow-tail C) mounted in turned rings. Remaining six keys are later additions, variously mounted in saddles and on pillars with short rod-axles. One key (G sharp) is carried on a pivot driven through the ivory mount, with a metal lining inserted. Twin holes for third and fourth fingers. Sounding length (length overall) is 56.9 cm.
