Clarinet in B flat, boxwood, horn mounts. Eleven brass keys, flat, square, mounted in turned blocks and ring and brass saddles (all probably original). Bell rim and thumb rest are turned. Mouthpiece (marked B) is probably original. Lower joint possibly a replacement. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 59.3 cm. Lacks two pads. Long B natural key bent. Stamped: Uhlrich Leipzig (marked B, with stars and, on one section, a crown).
