Key mechanism on a keyboard system of closed keys opening, singly, tone holes of diameter corresponding to that of tube and similar to a contrebasse-à-anche. Two tuning sleeves with screw collars. Denting near bottom of narrower long tube. Stamped: D. Rancilio & C. Milan (inscribed, with Italian Royal Arms, on an ornate diamond-shaped plate).
