Flute in D, dark stained wood, ivory mounts. Four keys, one silver and three German silver, flat, square, mounted in blocks and a turned ring. Fixed cork stopper. Split in headjoint, about 15 cm long from socket. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 52.9 cm. Stamped: Metzler & Co. 37 Great Marlborough Street London.
