Flute in D, ivory, ornate silver mounts. Eight keys of silver or German silver, round, flat (one shallow-cupped), mounted in turned blocks. Movable cork stopper on ivory bush. Brass tuning slide, the lining carried about 3 cm into the head. Sounding length (mouth-hole to foot) is 58.5 cm. Lacks foot mount. Body is cracked, some keywork has been replaced.
