Flute in D, cocuswood, silver keys and mounts. Boehm's system of 1832, with open hinged key for G sharp, and plug-type lever-action foot keys. Needle spring for one rod-axle. Metal lined head, tuning slide and sockets. Movable cork-faced stopper. Trill keys for right hand first and second finger. Socket cracked from end to end. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 58.5 cm. Stamped: Rudall & Rose, No.1 Tavistock Street, Covent Garden, London (Quatrefoil mark and number 70).
