Woman's cotton waistband. It has a central panel of repeating blue crosses on a blue and white ground, flanked by two red and two blue/black stripes, and integral tassels along one selvedge. The patterning is warp faced and the centre panel has warp floats, which are a derivative of plain weave. One selvedge has alternating yellow and red tufts of cotton (grouped in threes). The warp ends are unfinished.
