A woman's blue/black-coloured cotton waistband with red and yellow patterning and integral tassles along one selvedge. The ground is warp-faced tabby. It has regularly spaced red and yellow stripes and red and yellow bands, worked in continuous supplementary weft. The fringing consists of two red and two yellow alternating tufts. The warp ends of the textile are unfinished.
