A boy's cotton loincloth. It has holes and staining. The weaving of the textile is complete, but the continuous warp remains uncut. The cloth is mainly dark blue and woven in warp faced tabby weave. It has one red broad central stripe and two outer ones. The central stripe is flanked by a narrow white dotted stripe formed by a single warp end and two narrow yellow and red stripes. The two outer stripes contain a narrow yellow stripe. At the beginning of each warp end is a band of red and yellow twining in a chevron pattern worked in stranded cotton. Additionally, there is an identical twined band a short way from one of the warp edges.
