Rectangular piece of embroidered textile. It has a main panel with three large embroidered peacocks in a row, worked in cream, light brown and dark green silk threads. The tail of each peacock is in the shape of two eight-petalled flower motifs. The plain linen ground is broken up with areas of small circular patterns, in pulled threadwork, using thread the same colour as the ground. The peacocks are framed with two bands of more rectangular patterned pulled threadwork. The selvedges are at the shorter edges.
