pipe (narcotics & intoxicants: smoking)

A pipe bowl in the form of an animal's head, possibly a hyena, made of pottery and decorated with incised patterns filled with white pigment of clay. The stem is cane, with hide sleeves to hold it to the bowl and also secure the calabash mouthpiece.

Collection Information
